For organisations

The Institute of Medical Psychology, Psycho-Oncology and Psychosomatics develops specialised training courses and programmes for organisations that wish to develop the professional competencies of their teams and build a better environment for care, communication and support.

We work with healthcare facilities, social and health services, patient and non-governmental organisations, educational institutions, public structures and professional teams, with the content and format developed according to the specific needs of the organisation.

The programmes may be focused on topics such as communication with patients and relatives, mental health, psycho-oncology and psychosomatics, working with people with severe and chronic illnesses, crisis situations, loss and grief, professional ethics, multidisciplinary work, managing difficult situations and prevention of professional burnout.

The Institute can also develop training courses on specific request following a preliminary assessment of the team's needs. This allows the programme to be tailored to the professional environment, the specifics of the work, real cases and the challenges faced by the organisation.

Forms of work may include lectures, practical seminars, trainings, case work, supervision and Balint groups, team support groups, as well as longer-term training programmes.

Our goal is for the training not to end with the acquisition of new knowledge, but to lead to real change in professional practice, team relationships and the quality of care for people.
